Mike Sunda co-founded PUSH Japan in 2020, and heads up the Tokyo office as Managing Director and Strategy Director. He brings together a uniquely multi-disciplinary skillset spanning culture marketing, brand strategy, journalism and ethnographic research to help global brands succeed in Japan.
A long-time crypto and NFT enthusiast, Mike recently directed a brand video for Japanese marketplace SBINFT, bringing Web 3.0 creativity to life on the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing LED screens, and is working with the Shinsei Galverse team - Japan’s most successful NFT project ever at launch - to document their journey as they look to create an original anime.
Since its launch, PUSH Japan has already worked on integrated campaigns for the likes of Adidas, Koala, and Amazon, created stand-out video productions for NOWNESS, Budweiser and Red Bull, authored local-market strategy for Nike and Spotify, programmed experiential activations for Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Maserati x Fragment collaboration, independently created original documentaries and produced music videos.
